At nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, the air thins and every step becomes an effort. Yet, as you ascend the vibrant slopes of the Pacoyo Rainbow Mountains, the breathtaking view eclipses any struggle for breath or words. Amidst this surreal landscape, I captured a timeless moment: a local Andean woman, gracefully traversing the ancient path of her forebears, her alpaca at her side. Cloaked in tradition and resilience, she moves with a quiet strength, undisturbed by the altitude that leaves visitors gasping. In her presence, the boundary between past and present blurs, inviting you to witness a world where humanity and the elements exist in harmony.
